Tree Surveys in Relation to Construction (BS5837)
We can undertake the initial tree survey and determine a category of retention. Tree Constraints Plans can be prepared along with a statement of initial arboricultural implications.
In addition we can:

- Produce a Tree Protection Plan
- Provide an Arboricultural Method Statement.
Tree Condition Surveys
We undertake condition surveys for parish councils, schools, businesses and private homes. Surveys identify any hazards or problems associated with your trees and our detailed findings will give guidance and recommend actions to remedy them.
Picus Sonic Tomograph
Canopy Tree Services are able to offer Picus sonic tomograph testing. Using state of the art equipment we are able to accurately measure the residual wall of trees which are suspected of having internal defects.
This service is occasionally advised during the course of a tree survey. Typically for high value trees, or trees that could cause a significant hazard were they to fail
Tree Protection Order & Conservation Areas
We can advise on TPO’s and will complete all paperwork required when working on protected trees for FREE! It is very important you inform us if you believe your tree might be protected. Any fines in the event of a contravention are shared between the owner and the tree surgeon. If you are unsure, we will be happy to look into this acting as your agent.
Arboricultural Mortgage Reports
When purchasing a property or remortgaging, an Arboricultural report is often required by the mortgage provider. The Arboricultural Mortgage Report examines the condition of the trees and significant vegetation at a property and advises on the likely risk of tree-induced subsidence to adjacent structures and make recommendations for tree works.
