According to the HSE in the last 10 years 24 tree surgeons/arborists have been killed during tree work and nearly 1,400 have suffered an injury.
There is huge potential for accidents during tree work operations from chainsaws, falls from height or being struck by falling timber / trees. We do our best to reduce the chance of incidents by planning the works, training staff and supplying our teams with the best equipment and Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE).
However we understand that accidents can happen and Canopy Tree Services therefore ensure all our operatives undertake regular industry specific first aid training and the teams carry trauma kits to ensure if the worse happens we are equipped to deal with the scenario. Thanks to Katie at FoxMedics for our recent training day.
